Auctions Plus

For the 2021 Ram sale, we interfaced with auctions plus for the first time and have been doing so ever since. This proved to be a great tool for new, existing, and potential clients to view videos and photos of each ram and bid online at the sale.

By using Auctions plus we had a total of 18 registered bidders logged in throughout NSW, VIC, SA, and the ACT plus an additional 10 guests who logged on. The catalogue was viewed over 1,029 times resulting in two purchases one of which being the top-priced ram.

Industry Statistics

Glenfinnan Prime Lamb Genetics has used lamb plan since its inception as a tool to improve traits we believe are important to producing the best prime lamb possible. Our focus on growth rates and muscling have put us well ahead of the terminal breed average whilst keeping our birth weights moderate. The lamb plan tool will help you select sires that are tailored for your particular enterprise.

“We were looking for true conformation , a capacity to walk, with low birthweight and high weight gain from birth. Last year we only used Glenfinnan rams and we noticed easy lambing, good survivability, as well as quick and early growth rates.”
